Winter Storm Watch in Effect Through Saturday Afternoon

Several inches of snow are possible, according to the National Weather Service.

Fort Lee is expected to see its first snowfall since October late Friday night into Saturday.

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a winter storm watch for the area with as many as four to seven inches of snow possible and temperatures dipping into the mid-teens. The NWS warns that the potentially dangerous weather conditions and “significant snowfall” may cause “very hazardous travel conditions.”

The winter storm watch continues into Saturday afternoon. Residents are urged to monitor the latest forecasts.
