Viewfinder: 2011 George Washington Bridge Challenge

Viewfinder is a weekly photo gallery that takes a look at the community through the camera lens. This week, we have images from an annual event that raised nearly $115,000 for the American Cancer Society

Participants in the 2011 George Washington Bridge Challenge walked, ran and biked Sunday across the bridge to raise funds and support the mission of the American Cancer Society. The GWB Challenge—this year in its 24th year—is the only event that shuts down the bridge, according to organizers.

After looping on the lower level of the bridge, participants came back into New Jersey and took one of several different scenic courses of varying distances before meeting up at Allison Park in Englewood Cliffs for the George Washington Bridge Challenge Celebration Picnic.

This year's winners, according to the website dedicated to the event, which also lists top fundraisers and other information, were as follows:
