Three-Day School Spring Recess, Mayor and Council Work Session and More, This Week in Fort Lee

Take a look at what's going on in Fort Lee this week.

Fort Lee Public schools will be closed for spring recess Monday through Wednesday. Schools will be in session on Thursday and Friday, April 4 and 5. 

The Fort Lee Film Commission will hold its monthly meeting Monday at 7 p.m. at 326 Guntzer Street--the building behind Borough Hall.

The Fort Lee Advisory Committee for the Disabled will be holding their regular monthly meeting Wednesday, April 3 at 1 p.m. in the second floor conference room at Borough Hall. The Committee identifies needs and problems, advises and helps develop services and programs, and recommends solutions to meet the needs of Fort Lee’s residents with all types of disabilities.

The Fort Lee Regional Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its Business After Hours at River Palm Terrace Wednesday, April 3 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The Mayor and Council will hold their executive work session Thursday, April 4 in the second floor conference room at Borough Hall. The council will be in closed session from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. and open to the public at 8 p.m. The Fort Lee Historic Society is expected to be in attendance to present their petition to the Mayor and Council to save the Rambo house on First Street.
