A Fort Lee operator of nursing homes and assisted living facilities agreed to drop a lawsuit against a former company executive accused of taking kickbacks from inflated vendor contracts and conspiring to embezzle millions of dollars, according to an article published on NorthJersey.com Tuesday.
The article says CareOne LLC and executive William G. Burris agreed to dismiss the allegations as part of a settlement agreement. Terms of the settlement have not been released.
