Million Dollar Powerball Ticket, One Worth $10K Sold in Fort Lee

A $1million second prize ticket was sold at a Hess Express on Route 4 East, and $10,000 third place ticket was sold at Fort Lee Stationary, report says.

None of the tickets sold in Fort Lee for Wednesday night’s $588 million Powerball jackpot matched all six numbers; the two winning tickets in the record drawing were sold in Arizona and Missouri, according to lottery officials.

But one ticket worth $1 million and another worth $10,000 were sold in Fort Lee, according to reports.

In order to claim the $1 million second prize, your ticket had to match five numbers, and one such ticket was sold at Hess Express at 2295 Route 4 East in Fort Lee, NorthJersey.com reported.

A third prize-winning ticket worth $10,000 was also sold at Fort Lee Stationary at 236 Main St., according to the report.

The winning numbers were 5, 16, 22, 23 and 29, and the Powerball number was 6.
