5 Things to Do During the Rest of the Holiday Break

Once Christmas and Hanukah are over, it's time to entertain the kids

Looking for something to do with the kids during the rest of their week off from school? Patch has some ideas to keep everyone entertained.

1. Van Saun Park Zoo is offering a series of Holiday Break Programs for children ages 3 through 12. From open activities to classes about exotic animals, there is something for everyone. For more information, click here

2. NJ Children's Museum in Paramus is offering Holiday Break Fun Shops all day through Friday. Fun Shops include puppet shows, storytime and handpainting. For more information, click here

3. Saddle River Valley Cultural Center is offering Vacation Workshops on Thursday for children ages 5 through 10. Classes include Super Science Make it and Take It, Robot Robotics, Broadway Kids Musical Theater and Acting Workshop and the Girls Club. For more information, or to register, click here.

4. Visit a Nature Center. Bergen County has so many nature centers to choose from and each one has something different to offer.

5. Ski Campgaw: You don't have to leave Bergen County to have some outdoor family fun. Campgaw offers skiing, snowboarding and tubing fun for everyone. They even offer skiing and snowboarding lessons to indiviudals with Developmental Delays & Visual Impairments through their Adaptive Ski Program.

With the holidays behind us, break out from the daily routine and enjoy the rest of the week off with the kids by experiencing something new.
