The owner is really dishonest. My mother lives 1 block away from this bakery. We were having a family gathering at my home and asked my mother (a senior citizen) to pick up a traditional fresh cream cake from the bakery. This is a Korean bakery and it is understood that a "seng cream cake" or "fresh cream cake" is the traditional one that is white and fruit on top (kiwi, strawberry, grape).

My mother proceeded to go there and asked for such a cake. The owner asked who the cake was for, and my mother told them it was for her grandkids, who were aged 1, 3, 6, and 10. They told her that they had a special cake that is the most popular with kids. My mother, not knowing much about cakes, agreed to purchase that special cake.

When my mother brought it over, I was very disappointed when I saw that she had brought a Tiramisu cake. Tiramisu is made with rum and coffee grinds. This is certainly not for kids. My mother was upset and took the cake back next morning first thing.

The owner would not offer a refund and not even store credit. Wow. Talk about deceptive and taking advantage of senior citizens. I have since also read other reviews where someone saw the owner sneeze, blow her nose in a dirty tissue, and proceed to work in the bakery without washing her hands. It doesn't surprise me. This business owner needs to take a lesson on customer service and basic hygiene. I will never go back here, and will tell all my friends in the neighborhood this story. Good luck Dupan. You have been exposed.
