2013 US Ironman Championship Not Coming to Fort Lee

I have learned from a high level source at the Ironman that the 2013 Ironman US Championship will not be returning to Fort Lee/New York City next summer.

This is a great disappointment to the Fort Lee Regional Chamber of Commerce and the entire Fort Lee community. Nonetheless, we will all remember what a great event last month's Ironman was for Fort Lee, and are still hopeful to bring the Iroman back to Fort Lee in the future.

The official announcement from the Ironman will be today at a press conference at 2:00 p.m.
