NJ Chapter of American Institute of Architects to Install Fort Lee Man as President

Laurence E. Parisi, a Fort Lee resident, will be installed as president at a gala in North Bergen Saturday.

The New Jersey chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA-NJ) will install its 2012 officers at the organization’s annual awards gala at The Waterside in North Bergen on Saturday, and this year, the president is a Fort Lee resident, AIA-NJ announced.

Laurence E. Parisi of Fort lee will be installed as president at the annual event, which also celebrates top achievers among architects and architectural companies in the state, according to the organization.

“We express our sincere gratitude to those officers who served AIANJ in 2011 and are looking forward to another great year under the guidance of our incoming 2012 officer class,” Parisi said in a statement.

Parisi is owner and president of Laurence E. Parisi P.C. Architects of North Bergen and has more than 40 years of experience, specializing in the design and development of educational, municipal, residential, health care and commercial facilities, according to AIA-NJ.

Formed in 1900, AIA New Jersey is the statewide chapter of the national AIA and has six local sections—each of which is independent and runs local events and programs for its members—including Architects League of Northern New Jersey, Central Jersey, Newark and Suburban, Jersey Shore, South Jersey and West Jersey, according to AIA-NJ.
