Company to move from Fort Lee to Glenpointe.

A global research firm will move its Fort Lee headquarters to a 44,000 square foot space at the Glenpointe Centre in Teaneck, a report on northjersey.com said.

The firm, Perception Research Services International Inc., conducts packaging and shopper research for companies including Walmart and Target, according to its website.

With more than 200 total employees, the research firm has offices around the world including in London and Rome.

The deal was handled by Cushman & Wakefield in East Rutherford. Representatives could not be reached Tuesday night.

This just adds up to another loss for Fort Lee. Remember CNBC that used to be in Fort Lee and then went to Englewood Cliffs to build its beautiful studios and offices? And think of all the tax dollars that they are generating to support the town. There are others but this is obviously another significant loss to our boro - just continuing to add the tax burden onto you and your family.

Nowhere in Fort Lee exists a lot big enough to hold an office building like the CNBC headquarters. Companies move in and out, Glenpointe gave them a better deal.

Oh and Telemundo still uses the old CNBC building, so I don't think that Fort Lee lost any revenue on that.

The market research company is moving because the building they are in, on Executive Drive, is being converted to residential condominiums. Fort Lee will rake in the real estate taxes while continuing to burden (overcrowd) their school system.

Executive Drive is going to be condos? Wtf?
