A number of Fort Lee establishments battled for the title of New Jersey's best Korean fried chicken joint in the Star-Ledger's "Munchers" series.
So how did Bon Chon, Chicken 9ers, and Boom Boom fare?
According to the Munchers, Bon Chon had unfriendly service and the offerings brought "moderate smiles" to the panel's faces. And don't tread on Chicken 9ers – panelists said it had the best service and great garlic wings. (The chicken is baked, not fried.) Boom Boom went "bust," the food testers said.
