The Bronx Wanderers Open Music Under Stars Series

The first Wednesday evening concert of the summer featured rock and roll "under the stars."

The Bronx Wanderers had the house rockin' and almost everyone in attendance either dancing or clapping along Wednesday evening at the , kicking off the town's annual "Music Under the Stars" concert series.

The old-school rock and roll band--featuring lead singer Yo' Vinny; Vinny "The Kid" on vocals, electric piano and guitar; drummer and vocalist Nicky "Stix;" Jimmy Fracassi on vocals and guitar and saxophonist John Tutino--were the first musicians to perform as part of the Wednesday evening series, which continues throughout the summer.

All "Music Under the Stars" performances are held at the Jack Alter Fort Lee Community Center at 1355 Inwood Terrace and begin at 7:30 p.m. Be sure to bring your blanket, lawn chairs and a picnic dinner.
