Fort Lee Photos: Cha Cha, Rumba Night Under The Stars

Dancing Under the Stars Friday, Aug. 12, Fort Lee Community Center

David Ioffe and Shalom Diggs of "Dance With Me" in Ridgefield Park gave lessons on how to Cha Cha and Rumba to the rythms of the music Friday evening at the Fort Lee Community Center.

When night fell upon the dancers and the full moon rose to a more prominent position in the sky, a transformation took place on stage. A well appointed, beautifully lighted bridge simulating the George Washington Bridge, proudly displayed its brilliance against the backdrop of a crushed black velvet curtain. The bridge was truly "eye candy" for all to enjoy.

Cheryl Westyn, Superintendent of Recreation, said the bridge made its debut Friday as part of the permanent stage design.
