Wearable Art -- Found Object Jewelry Design

The Public Library will host a jewelry craft demonstration by Phyllis Ger, a regular on Cablevision’s How-To Channel. Teens are welcome! Attendees are encouraged to bring found objects or mementos to make their own craft projects. Attendees will be instructed on how to make creative use of objects such as buttons, beads, fabric and stones. The creative possibilities of household items will be discussed, and only simple tools will be needed to make your own wearable art. Everyone will leave class with several pieces of unique wearable art pieces.
