Fort Lee Film Commission Presents Mack & Mabel Musical in Concert with the Fort Lee High School Student Actors

The Fort Lee Film Commission Presents a Centennial Tribute to Keystone Studio with the Jerry Herman musical about the founding of this movie studio in Fort Lee in 1912 - Mack & Mabel.  The Fort Lee High School drama department teacher Jodi Etra will direct her Fort Lee High School students in this groundbreaking production in the town where Keystone Studio was born.  The Fort Lee Film Commission will integrate very rare film footage of Mack Sennett, the founder of Keystone, and his great comedienne Mabel Normand in some of the first films shot by Keystone in Fort Lee in 1912.  Performance dates are May 18th at 7:30 pm, May 19th at 2 pm and 7:30 pm in the auditorium of Fort Lee High School (3000 Lemoine Ave.) - tickets on sale for $10 at the door - visit www.fortleefil.org or call the Fort Lee Film Commission at (201) 693-2763 for further info or to purchase playbill ads - all proceeds will go towards programs of the Fort Lee High School Drama Department and the student actors.
