Four Fort Lee churches gathered Sunday at Fort Lee High School for the first annual Gospel4 Fort Lee
As it turned out, the first annual joint, outdoor worship service Sunday of four Fort Lee churches had to be moved inside because of the weather. But that didn't stop worshipers from gathering as planned.
“Gospel4Fort Lee," which took place Sunday at the Fort Lee High School auditorium instead of at the Dr. Alan W. Sugarman Sports Complex on Stillwell Ave. as organizers originally conceived it, brought together the , , and in what church leaders hope to make an annual event and the launch of further efforts to better serve the community.
Pastors Richard Lee (Bethany Well), Rick Spenst (Fort Lee Gospel), Dominick Apollo (First Reformed Church of the Palisades) and Won Kwak (Maranatha Grace) planned the joint worship service.

“Through this kind of initial endeavor, which we feel is just the start of united efforts of serving the community, we will hopefully serve and bring hope and joy and Gospel love to the community,” Kwak said prior to the event.
