FORT LEE, N.J. – (July 24, 2014) – Lance Maiden, a sales associate affiliated with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Fort Lee, recently completed a charity walk at Randalls Island in New York City to raise funds for the National Brain Tumor Society.

Maiden said the cause is important to him and his family, as his father, Wally, is a brain tumor survivor. Maiden volunteered to captain “Team Wally” for the walk and raised over $435 for the cause. He has also volunteered to be a part of the National Brain Tumor Society planning committee for next year’s charity walk.

As stated on www.braintumor.org, the National Brain Tumor Society’s strategic initiatives and funded programs aim to improve an understanding of all brain tumors and transform research into new and effective treatments as quickly as possible. The Society hosts charity walks in various cities around the country throughout the year.
