Music, Movies, and Help for your Neighbors!

On Sunday, Parishioners at the Church of the Good Shepherd loaded 35 bags of canned goods for delivery to the Center for Food Action, along with $25 in gift cards.  Donations came from Good Shepherd, Music and Movies Under the Stars, and All Saints’ Episcopal Church in Leonia.  Thank you!

You can join this effort to help neighbors in Bergen County who struggle to make ends meet when salaries are low, housing, child care and food prices high, or people face medical crises, unemployment, or underemployment.

Bring a can of food to Music and Movies under the Stars, sponsored by the Fort Lee Film Commission.  The Church of the Good Shepherd will be collecting food at the next three concerts.  You can also bring checks, which Good Shepherd will match (up to $1500 total), or bring food or mail checks made out to Center for Food Action to 1576 Palisade Avenue, Fort Lee, NJ  07024 before September 8.
