Young Oliver is an orphan who escapes the cheerless life of the workhouse and takes to the streets of 19th-Century London. He's immediately taken in by a band of street urchins, headed by the villain, Fagin, and his loyal apprentice, The Artful Dodger. Through his education in the fine points of pick-pocketing, Oliver steals away with an unexpected treasure...a home and a family of his own.

More About Church of The Good Shepherd
Rev. Dr. Allison Moore is Rector of this inclusive Episcopal parish that welcomes "families and singles, gay and straight, and people from many different backgrounds," according to its website. The beautiful stone structure is located in a scenic downtown neighborhood alongside Monument Park and the Fort Lee Museum. There are two weekly Sunday worship services—one a traditional Eucharist at 8am, and the other at 10am with inclusive language and a choir. Sunday School is at 10am. Tuesday evening book discussion groups are another highlight, and the Church of the Good Shepherd also hosts AA meetings. The building on Palisade Avenue is also the home of the Fort Lee Korean Church, and there is plenty of parking.
