This is one of four elementary schools in the Fort Lee school district. No. 3's literacy program encourages children to become self-sufficient (as opposed to teacher-directed) learners capable of creative, analytical and evaluative thinking. Highlights at No. 3 include French and Spanish classes, intervention and referral services for parents with children who require special assistance, and programs in character education, conflict resolution, peer mediation and anti-bullying.
