 ot Thomas Paine in Fort Lee's historic Monument Park - this is the locat
 ion where Paine lived as an American soldier / adjutant with General Was
 hington's Army in 1776 and where he began to write The American Crisis.

  War patriot and writer Thomas Paine to be placed in Fort Lee's historic
