Youth Conservatory Auditions for

 “The Pirates of Penzance”

 The Garage Theatre Groups’ Youth Conservatory will be reprising one of their most successful shows, Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Pirates of Penzance. Auditions are Saturday September 8 from 10:00am – 2:00pm and Sunday September 9 from 2pm – 6:00pm.

It is open to young actors between the ages of 10 – 18 years of age.

 Actors should prepare a 1-minute song and prose monologue. They should bring an accompaniment CD or sheet music. Dress to dance. If you have never auditioned before call The Garage at 201.569.7710 or email gtgshowtime@gmail.com and they will be happy to help you through the process.

 There are parts for everyone. A rollicking band of pirates, a bevy of giggling maidens and their “very model of a modern Major-General” father along with a dashing pirate apprentice, a fading nursemaid and a bunch of blundering policemen.

 The Garage Theatre Group, celebrating it’s 20^th anniversary season is well known for providing outstanding theatrical learning experiences that develop leadership, emphasize responsibility, and foster teamwork in a supportive, respectful environment.
