After many years in the landscaping business, I did not like the negative feedback I was getting from concerned homeowners who were worried about the chemicals sprayed on their lawns. I knew it was time to build beautiful lawns that were safe for children and pets who like to play in the grass.

We spent many years researching different products that result in green lawns without hurting the environment. Personally I saw the difference in the color of my lawn within 2 days.

So I decided it was time to make a change. We found an all natural product that strengthens the lawn and controls most insects such as ants, fleas, ticks, chinch bugs and grubs while significantly decreasing the amount of chemicals.

Like with any product the results were better the second year we used it. The first year, you are actually weaning the grass off the high nitrogen granular synthetic fertilizer. With synthetic fertilizers, the roots of the grass are close to the surface of the lawn.

When you switch to organic, this forces the grass to develop deeper roots. That means grass is more tolerant to drought and also not so susceptible to disease.

The grass becomes healthier and develops more natural defenses. In fact, we found that natural fertilizer also helps to grow grass in shady areas where they could not grow grass before.

Most importantly patience is required to build a strong lawn. We believe it is truly worth it when one can reduce the use of synthetic fertilizer and still have a green, healthy lawn.
