U.S. News and World report has released its annual list of Top Doctors, and a dozen health professionals who practice in Fort Lee made the cut.
Doctors are able to nominate their peers for recognition but can't apply or nominate themselves. U.S. News collaborates with Castle Connolly, a New York City company that works to name the country's top doctors. For more information about the nomination and selection process, click here.
This year there are more than 27,000 physicians recognized in many different specialties. All Top Doctors are in approximately the top 10 percent of health professionals in their specialty nationwide. None of the Fort Lee doctors who made the list was among the select few also recognized for being in the top 1 percent.
