James is a very sweet 12 weeks old boy kitty looking to find a home where he can play with lots of toys! James is a wonderful little guy. He will be neutered before leaving the shelter.
The shelter seeks a home for Teeny (pictured) and her brother Weeny (see next photo in gallery) who were brought in as strays and noted “horrible condition.” Both dogs were happy and eager to meet people despite their extremely matted fur which didn’t seem to bother them when they had human affection. Fortunately, the shelter get them into tip top shape thanks to the wonderful folks at Bark N Purr in Teaneck. Both are full of energy and due to their attachment to each other the shelter hopes to find a family who will take them both.
This is Weeny, brother of Teeny (see previous photo), Maltese dogs, up for adoption at the shelter. They came in as strays and the shelter helped get them both into better condition and now seeks a home for both of them together, as they are extremely attached.
This is Brie, a super sweet, super cute, super lovable 10 week- old who is looking to find her new forever home. She will be spayed before leaving the shelter.

The shelter has also put a call out this week for volunteers to help raise baby kittens to help prepare them for shelter life as they are too young to adjust to this environment. These baby kittens need a temporary, loving, safe and quiet home to grow up in until they are ready for adoption.

Volunteers would be responsible for feeding, cleaning, socializing and possibly medicating animals in their own homes. When the animal is old or healthy enough it will be returned to the shelter for adoption.

All volunteers must be 18 years old. The Bergen County Animal Shelter will provide all supplies. No experience needed. Call  Bernadette at 201 229-4611.

The Bergen County Animal Shelter is located at 100 United Lane in Teterboro. Call the shelter at 201-229-4600 or visit them on the web.
