A school bus was destroyed when it caught fire on Hudson Terrace, near 8th Street, Wednesday afternoon in Englewood Cliffs. 

No children were on board the First Student bus and there were no injuries, officials on the scene said. Firefighters used foam to knock down the flames, which had engulfed the front of the bus. 

The lone occupant, a bus driver, was unharmed. 

Englewood Cliffs police closed the busy roadway in both directions while crews worked to clear the scene late Wednesday afternoon.
