The opening night of St. Rocco's was cancelled due to heavy rain Wednesday.
On the stage where Uncle Floyd and Johhny Meatballs were to perform, a few musicians still practiced as the storm raged on.
What should have been a street festival bustling with activity turned into a subdued pensive moment for disappointed vendors as raindrops collected into reflective pools of color.
