The general manger of a local restaurant that held a fundraiser earlier this month to help the family of a 16-year-old Fort Lee boy who received a heart transplant in June presented the family with a check for $1,000 Monday.
The annual event, which this year is Dec. 6 at the community center, should be more fun than ever, especially for kids who lost Halloween to Sandy, Fort Lee Mayor Mark Sokolich said this week.
The Bergen County Clerk’s office released final election results Wednesday from the Nov. 6 general election, and in Fort Lee’s races for seats on the Board of Education and Borough Council, there were no surprises, except possibly for the number of votes that were not included in the "unofficial results" on election night.
