‘Help Neighbors Know Fort Lee,’ Urges Social Networking Site Founder
iNeighborCircle.com announces an online event in which Fort Lee residents can earn a “Community Contributor Badge” and win $25.
A new social networking website started by a Fort Lee resident and working parent is organizing an online event called “Help Neighbors Know Fort Lee.”
If you’re a Fort Lee resident and have questions your neighbors might be able to answer, you can ask them by visiting iNeighborCircle.com, says founder Lingling Zhao.
iNeighborCircle.com will award a “Community Contributor Badge” to Fort Lee residents who help others by answering questions, providing recommendations on local businesses and experts and giving away or lending neighbors and friends items through the website, Zhao said, adding that the top three contributors will win a $25 prize.
“Our goal is to help Fort Lee by getting the residents to know each other, strengthening the connections within the community and supporting local business and experts,” Zhao said.
Zhao, who works on Wall Street as an IT professional, launched the social networking site recently as a way to connect residents based on a model of “trust,” she told Patch in December.
The online event, “Help Neighbors Know Fort Lee,” started Jan. 1 and runs through March 31.
