The Fort Lee Regional Chamber of Commerce (FLRCC) is hosting its 44th Annual Dinner & Dance Saturday honoring its 2012 “Persons of the Year.”
Among some of the notable people attending the event are State Sen. Loretta Weinberg, State Assemblyman Gordon Johnson, Fort Lee Mayor Mark Sokolich, Englewood Cliffs Mayor Joe Parisi and Palisades Park Mayor James Rotundo.
This year’s dinner and dance, which takes place at the DoubleTree Hotel in Fort Lee, includes an extensive cocktail reception, a full course dinner, champagne toast, live music and, of course, dancing with friends.
This year’s FLRCC “Persons of the Year” honorees are Michael A. Pollotta and Craig Weinstein.
Weinstein is being honored for his “civic activities and service to the Chamber,” while Pollotta is being recognized for “lifelong contributions to various civic and charitable organizations as well as his extensive work in local and state politics,” according to Chamber officials.
“The FLRCC Dinner/Dance Committee has done an incredible job putting this event together with the challenges due to Hurricane Sandy,” said Weinstein, a member of the Chamber’s Executive Committee. “The committee is determined to make this year’s gala the best ever as we celebrate Fort Lee and its surrounding business communities.”
The registration deadline for the “black tie optional” dinner and dance is Thursday, Nov. 15; you can register by clicking here. Tickets are $150 per person.
The Chamber’s 44th Annual Dinner & Dance is Saturday, Nov. 17 starting with cocktails at 6:30 p.m. and dinner at 7:30 p.m.
