Local Runner Competes in Lincoln Tunnel 5K
John Ferris, 32, of Fort Lee finished 20th in the Lincoln Tunnel 5K Challenge, which drew nearly 3,000 people to run under the Hudson River on Apr. 17. His time was 18:02.91, good enough for fourth place in the 30-39 age group. The winner was Victor Reyes, 18, of Paterson, with a time of 16:19.84.
